Sustainability

SUSTAINABILITY is a term that is widely used but poorly defined. This is what it means to us:

• Use of sustainable materials – either biodegradable, renewable or circular / pre-consumer waste.
• Designing for longevity – through good design, well made from high quality materials.
• Minimising waste – minimal waste in manufacture, reusing or recycling all material.
• Reduced carbon impact – making locally and sourcing in the UK reduces travel miles. We work closely in person with our manufacturers meaning that we don’t have to ship samples around the world. We collect our orders in person.
• Recycling – using recycled and recyclable packaging.
  

We aim to be a zero waste business. We design and cut in a way that minimises waste. We collect all of our offcuts for reuse or recycling. Pieces that cannot be reused are sent down the road to Fibrelab to be shredded and turned into paper. We use this paper for some of our swingtags.
